High School Reunion

Marks.  On Thanksgiving weekend.  I hate when classes do that (mine always did it too).  Too much assumption that we come back for the holiday (or even have someone to come back to).

I think he wants to go.  Thats fine.  He is flying out of Spokane though.  If we really want to get cheap, $259.00, cross country on T-day.  Still get there in time for someone's leftovers.  If I do go back to Amazon in the fall, he would have to go alone.  That is prime time for Amazon and I would get fired for points b/c of missing so many days (and would need drs. note and even my liberal note giver dr. wouldn't do that).

Sturgis

They just added 5 new bands, including Alice Cooper.  Talk about old school.  He is playing the same night we have our Pitch Fork Fondue so we can't stake good standing room during the opening act, Puddle of Mudd.

The other talent is Dierks Bentley (heard his shows were rowdy), he needs an opening act, 3 Doors Down and Finger Eleven (I think 3 Doors Down is the opening act).

Still some more slots to fill.  We will get our money's worth out of this trip.

And the spam just keeps on coming, complete with good news and bad

 We owe on our taxes.  3700.00.   I need to go over the paperwork and see if there are any mistakes.  I have a feeling we got  jumped up a few tax brackets with me working.  Does not pay to have me work.

Good news: Mark's chest pains are not heart attack, more muscular.  That only took almost 4 hours in the ER.  

Other good news: I am not in a cast but an ugly ass boot.  I picked the boot  over the flat shoe since the straps were not right over my fracture they way they were with the flat shoe.  It was the 5th metatarsal fracture, diagonally, not horizontal.  Even I could have found the break looking at the x-rays.

Off to take some good pain pills.  Got quite a stash now.  Should be able to sleep through anything at Sturgis.
