Farm Aid
As some of you know, I went to Farm Aid last year. Loved it but it makes for a very long day. Farm Aid is coming to the Chicago area this year, back to where it began 20 years ago.
I just got an email telling me that they have added new acts - Los Lonely Boys and Kenny Chesney. This is addition to who you see at every show - Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews (solo) and Neil Young.
It is September 18th at the Tweeter Center.
If you become a member of Farm Aid, you can get your tickets on July 24th at noon. To quote the email I got:
You must be a FarmYard member to purchase tickets. FarmYard members will be limited to 2 tickets each. Tickets will be amazing and in sections 101, 102, 103, 104, or 105. FarmYard tickets will be available for $85 each plus shipping and handling.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on July 30 at 10 a.m. CDT and are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Tweeter Center box office, charge by phone in Chicago at (312) 559-1212, or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices for Farm Aid 2005 Presented by Silk Soymilk begin at $30 for lawn seats, $65 for pavilion seats and $85 for corn belt seats.

It is a long day but it is a great show. I am so tempted to fly to Chicago...
