Work Rant
I put in for my LOA over two months ago. Have they told me I am approved or not? Hell, no.
I got shined on all last week by the HR assistant who has left for another job. I check with her direct supervisor who looked me like I had three heads. She knew nothing about it. She found my paperwork but my "proof" that I had made these plans before the policy change are missing. Lucky for me, I had a spare copy. Nice try Big A.
Now my request in in Operstions for approval. Um, I go on vacation at the end of the month, I can't keep waiting to find out if I am going to get the time off w/o pay or if other plans need to be made - burning through my time and getting 1/2 the number of points to be fired or just burning throught my personal time off and just quitting.
I can see them trying to deny me based on work flow. I wonder how the work flow will happen if I up and quit? Bring in the new training class, now.
Not to mention, we are getting to manditory overtime. Of course the one major time is when I am already at work. I am not about to work until 11 pm and come back in at 5:45.
