Hmmm, 10 years?

I am not buying the "he kept me captive for 10 years because I was afraid for my family" line. Call me cynical but, come on. 10 years? Why do I think that maybe she ran off with the bad boy and once he got caught, came up with her story? She wasn't locked in a room, she was working on a chicken farm. They have phones there. There were people there she could have confided in. Something like, gee, I know we look like the happy couple but I am being held hostage, do you think you could call someone for me? Maybe my husband? Maybe the police?

I should try and follow this just to see how it washes out.

Never one to do things on time

I just heard from my accountant that I am getting back 1600.00 for 2001 taxes. My accountant did an amended form. I was not deducting all my deductions from having the Longaberger business. Home based businesses are a good thing, wonderful deductions to be had. I do make it a point to combine pleasure with business trips. For example, I am going back to Ohio for a Longaberger meeting, I am staying longer so that I can do some family genology research in Syracuse, NY. That means I can deduct my plane ticket, my rental car and the hotel/meals in Ohio. V. good things.

Yippie skippie. I need to get working on 2002, 2003 and 2004.

Let that be a lesson for you

We all know the rule - you don't lick anything metal in the winter when it is cold outside - and we have all done it at one time.  I would like to expand the rule - if you put a spoon in the freezer, don't lick it either.
