ADD
I have the worst case today, can not seem to finish one project but manage to make a big mess with each thing.
I have been in a purge mode. My original thought was to have a huge yard sale. This would have been the second year I have been planning this (and kept piling boxes and boxes of stuff). Mark finally talked me out of it and now everything will go to the church for their Rummage Sale. but, not satisfied with just hauling what I have packed (and have already taken one load, but must wait until the holding area gets cleaned out so I have room for more of my junk), I *must* give away more.
I have started sorting through the canister collection in the garage. You know the ones, tin cannisters with advertising on them. I am keeping some of the older ones, Hershey and M&M (Mark and Michele, get it?) but others must leave. Along with canisters leaving, I am going to go through every box out there. Is there any reason to keep my grade school papers? No kids that I can make deal with them when I am gone. Out of here. Books? Boxes and boxes. I hate giving away books, I really do. They won't go to the rummage sale, they will go to a store in town that will give me store credit if they want any of my old collection.
I started unpacking a shipment of holly mugs I ordered from the Longaberger Attic Sale. I have to send one back as the handle is broken. I have 20 and thought they would make nice Christmas gifts to Mark's crew (2 mugs each, filled with either small cookies or gourmet hot chocolate), a couple of neighbors and some friends. Might need to get some more. The mugs were wrapped in bubble wrap and then packed in packing peanuts. This is a recipe of static cling. Peanuts all over the living room. The dyson does not like picking up peanuts, they cling to the side of the canister and full size ones would get stuck in the blower. I did manage to complete this task (took me all day).
Have to call dyson. I got my new hose but the old coupler is stuck in the handle and the new coupler will not fit. dyson is closed right now so will have to remember to do it tomorrow.
The only thing keeping me going is that if I get rid of all that junk in the garage, maybe, just maybe my car can live inside. What a concept.
In between all this, I must get ready for a Red Hat Implosion this weekend. I will have a suite so I can be a vendor and push Longaberger's eggplant dishes. All that is all over too.
I think I will have another nap. Day has been in the office doing her come back to bed mommy meow. Must please the kitty.
