Tastes in music

I have always been a rock and roll girl. Led Zep, The Doors, Grateful Dead (big dead head), The Who.  Have gone to see lots and lots of Rock and Roll concerts.  For some reason I have been listening to country lately (for about the past year or so).  I don't know why.  I still don't like country country but I like rock and rolly country.  Big and Rich.  Love to gaze at Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney (too short for me but the cute butt gets me every time).  I know about every 7 years your body changes, wonder if your taste in music also changes?

I've been liking the same music since I was 14. Same things you like -- Beatles, U2, Doors, Zep, Who, Floyd, Stones.

I've never been to a concert.

Never.

Ever.

Never.

I've been to three concerts: George Clinton/Funkadelics, Cowboy Junkies, and a local jazz group.

Pretty eclectic, but that's how my taste in music is :)

But that's why we like you so much. :-D

Actually...

Mr. McCartney is going on tour this fall. My dad and I are going to pull every sort of string imaginable to get to that when he comes to Philly (or New York, if that should happen).

We had to skip McCartney during the last tour, we had spent too much on CSNY and Joel/John tickets to pay Paul's prices. You should be able to get tickets.

We got shut out last time, my dad tried to get it over the net.

And CSNY is really the only other band I'd see. Them and the Stones. And Coldplay.

CSNY are great to see. Crosby still sounds the same. We try to get really good seats for all concerts that we go to anymore. Always within the first 20 rows or so. Could smell pot during one Tom Petty show (and it was not the audience's). Stones can still do it. Forget Cheryl Crow (she opened). Need to add her to my list.

I bet George Clinton's show was great. Not familiar with Cowboy Junkies.
