Have I mentioned I hate this?

The counter offer came back.  Our original offer was $209,000 + 9,400.00 towards closing.

They countered with 212,000 (orig listing at 214,900), $300.00 for closing, no home warranty.  They did leave in that we have recourse from them if we find issues that were a result of their negligence.

If we can counter back, it would be  205K with no money from them.

This is so nerve wracking.  All I have done today is pace the house, doing nothing constructive.

These people paid 235,000 for the house 2 years ago.  First listing was for 220,000 then dropped to 214,900.

Of course, my agent is on vaca celebrating his 10th wedding anniversary.  In Vegas.  He has spent enough time with her, now is the time to be attached to your lap top 16 hours a day.

Where are those anti-anxiety pills I had around here?  James, can you send me some of yours?  I can be as good as a therapist when listening to another's problems (and I  don't charge a cent).
