We are using Wally World paint for several rooms, other paint came from Lowes. We used both for painting supplies, we were there so just seemed easier to buy what we needed at that store.

You have to decide if you want to do the entire room or just an accent wall. I watch a lot of The Learning Channel and Home and Garden TV (on cable) and get ideas from that.

A color wheel will help you with seeing what color family compliments your main color. The paint chips offer some choices.

I would start with looking at paint chips and see what colors you are drawn to. Google painting and there should be some how to vidoes out there.
