Out and About

Well we did decide to go to breakfast with the leather crowd. I kept my eyes closed pretty much the entire trip and hung to the panic bar like there was no tomorrow. I am a terrible passenger and ever worse on the bike. No panic bar there but I do close my eyes quite a bit. Means I miss things like coyotes and such in the fields. I don't think I would ever be good for a long trip, I am used to putting the back of the seat down and either reading or napping. Can't really do either on the bike. Maybe a side car...

Mark is shoveling. Yes, we were supposed to be able to use the snowblower but we were last in line since we went out this am. He just decided to shovel. The lazy people next door got to use it instead of us. Grrr. He is not happy but he has had a bit of an attitude already. Why is men's PMS so much worse than ours? I just call him on it and tell him to either ditch the tude or leave the area.

I think the snow is done, many of the side streets are icky, packed down, slick roads. I don't see anymore systems out there that might give us another blanket of the white. I want last years totals and don't want to settle for less.

I've never seemed to be one with a regular PMS cycle. I seem to only really have my "moments" once every 3-4 months or so, and even then, they're not very bad.

Philip, on the other hand, is an entirely different story! He has his PMS time every month - right on time, and woooooo boy! Is he crabby!

You are lucky. The moments continue through menopause. Mine were not regularly scheduled (expect when I had an IUD, that was the worst year). Now that I am playing the menopause game, on those months were I actually get a period, look out. Some months are so bad that I contemplate performing my own hysterectomy, fortunately, Costco does not carry scalpels but I have eyed the Dyson vacuum cleaner.

Mark goes in cycles and some of them are real doozers - he goes into his cave and sulks (or whatever).
