I answer my company's email and I swear I am a bizillionaire by now. From winning the lottery, to private business deals from a banker in Nigeria, being the long lost heir of someone killed in Plane Crashes...etc. Yeah, it gets old.

Nigeria has not found me yet via email but they used to fax my old job daily (along with writting letters).

Most of my spam has been offering me penile and breast enlargements and offers to refinance my house (I'm renting, I think the owners might object).

Who copyrights a letter now? UK copyright laws must be so different than ours!

I got a Britain-based scam this week too.

[identity profile] chelelev.livejournal.com 2005-06-08 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
How much did you win?

[identity profile] jakflak.livejournal.com 2005-06-08 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it was two millions pounds. Someone died with no heir, so they picked me off the internet to give the money to.

Oops, you picked a cop to try to scam.

Now they're banned from their server. Heheheheehehehehehe...........

*Richie looks innocent*

I never open any e-mails that I don't know where they came from. Too many crazy scams out there :o/

Outlook allows me to preview what is in the email before actually clicking on it to open it. I only worry about opening attachments, that is where the little buggies live.
