I went to the Drs. appointment, of course they had no record of me being scheduled for this morning. The front desk and I were standing there trying to see where it all went wrong. They asked me for my phone number, I gave it to them. A woman in the waiting room said that my number was her old number. Ok, I could understand that. Then she got called back, her name was also Michele and she was undergoing the same test I was. Figure the odds.

I am back to having my appointment Monday afternoon when I thought it was.

Buttonmommy should be seeing her husband for the first time in many a month right about now.

That's crazy. I hope you made certain that all records (yours and hers) were no up to date and your current phone number was only on YOUR file.

All taken care of. Actually it had gotten taken care of before I got to the waiting room, the other Michele had corrected her information on her chart so my phone number is no longer there. I might actually miss knowing her appointments, we could have been friends! I think we might have been having a similar procedure (both ultrasounds, the gyn side not the ob ultrasound).

It was a comedy of errors that got to be funny by the end of it.

I am guess the other Michele is related to the Rose who has the same phone number as us within the Safeway shopping card system. If we just key in our phone number, the receipt shows Rose's name and not ours.

Rose is in my parish so I think I will call her later this morning and see if I can get her to change her phone number with Safeway (and ask if her daughter's name is also Michele).
