I'm in Seattle!

She came through like a trooper and is currently resting comfortably (as they say). The babies actually listen to me, they are with Parker right now.
The trip over was a while knunkle trip up the eastern slope. Hello, maybe a snow plow would have moved things along. There were times tha I was only going 5 to 10 miles per hour. The only thing plowed was the chain up lane. I was seriously ill prepared for winter driving. I ca n't believe that I left without boots, extra food, blankets, tarp and chains (which I would have had to pay someone to put on).
But all was not lost, the GPS worked wonderfully except for the time she told me to make a u-turn on I-5, I did find myself arguing with my GPS.
I did manage a whirlwind trip thorugh Vanity Fair. Grabbed some jeans, Seahawks sweats, socks. I will have to come back in the spring/summer when I am not so rushed. They did have Reef flip-flops which normally retail for about 44.00 - 1/2 price. Those are the flip-flops with a bottle opener in the sole. Ya just never know when you might need a bottle opener!
I am debating staying one more day to make sure Parker is ok. I do have to be at work by 3 tomorrow (or I don't get paid for Monday). The pass forcast seems it might be ok. I do want to go over before dark, it is noon now. Even if I left at 3, traffic will make it iffy to see if I can \get up and over then down the eastern slope before dark.
I'll decide in a few hours. Wait long enough, the decision is made for me. Will have to let Mark know he gets another Michele free day.
