Cold cold go away

I hate being sick enough not to enjoy being sick.  Other people sleep when they get sick.  I stay awake.  

I am ashamed to admit that I watched My Big Fat Redneck Wedding.  I have also caught up on this years Bad Girls - where do they find these skanks?

I need to do some money moving and pay a bill or two.

Finally, the Big A seems to be calming down.  Most of the seasonals have been let go.  The downside of moving to a speciality team is we don't get offered the same VTO (volunteering time off) that the rest of the site gets.  My boss did ask me why I worked there.  I let him know I ask my self that question too.  This past holiday season was a rough one.  I am burnt  out and the carrot that got me going to work was the VTO.

I guess things are going to change soon.  Who else can we answer the phones for?  I would love to be able to go part time.  

My house is a disaster.  I need to quit being so ADD and stick with a room and get one room clean.  It is time to put the tree into the box and pack away Christmas.

Off to cough up a lung or two.

I *almost* watched the redneck wedding thing, but the rooting around in the dumpster for gifts was too much, so I watched something I TiVo'd. lol


I was really burnt out of my job too and dread going back ... the only thing that keeps me hanging on to it is the fact that it is so damn flexible, it doesnt take a lot of thought (lol), and I dont have to be around a lot of people -- or, usually, anyone.

But the constant driving was making me batty - esp with my truck acting up every other month.

I'd give just about anything to be a full time, on the payroll, stage manager (or ever asst stage manager) at one of the bigger theatres here in town .. or to be a virtual admin asst or a personal asst until I can be a full time SM.
