Oct. 30th, 2006 11:19 amI am now an employee of a large internet retailer that began in Seattle in the founder's garage doing bound material as a CSA. I go to new hire orientation Friday from 2 to 5. Flist - note the time since I have trouble getting my appointment times correct. I begin training on Monday for two weeks. Full benefits, 401K and stock options!
Casual dress. Very casual dress. Some work in jammies and slippers. I think I will wait until I've been there for at least a week before I show up in the jammies.
I apologized and apologized for screwing up last week. She didn't seem too upset over it, I took full responsibility.
I can still work my next two footballs games for the other job and then we'll take it from there as soon as I know my schedule for the large internet retailer, who corporate headquarters is up on the hill in Seattle.
