I hate bullying. Maybe because I was bullied, maybe not.  But I know the emotional harm it can do, ten times worse when you are a teenager.  Can be enough for a child to attempt suicide.  Even succeed.

A mother?  What would make a mom want to bully a kid on MySpace?   No excuse for that.  Go away for a long time bitch.

I think the charges are the very definition of trumped-up, creative and probably don't stand a chance in hell of sticking at the end of a jury trial.

However, if it puts her and her family through a terrifying period of heartbreak and uncertainty while violating her privacy by putting every imaginable detail of her personal life into the court record before the verdict is reached, I have no problem with it.

Maybe when it's all over she'll understand how it feels to be tormented by people she doesn't know and is powerless to stop.

That will work for me too.

She will plead out to a somewhat lesser charge before it goes to trial. I do look forward to seeing it in next year's Law and Order.

I agree -- I was thinking that the authorities felt they had to do something, but nothing could be done, so they just loosely translated the law and did this. I cant imagine it will go anywhere, but if the woman learns her lesson and stops acting like such a cunt (and not the good kind), then it will have served its purpose, imo.
