As some of you know, I tried to get my motorcycle endorsement but failed totally on the practical aspects (you know, where you actually are supposed to ride the bike). It really consists of a really really bad rug burn that is much bigger and much deeper. It still is not completely scabbed over. The problem is that if I move my leg wrong, it just opens the thing up again. It is very painful, esp. when one of the cats steps on my leg.
We have tickets to see Styx this weekend. Mark came home from work today and asked if I wanted to go to a picnic in Post Falls, Idaho that a local Goldwing chapter is putting on in Corbin Park, instead of the concert. Not sure how well I will do on the bike in the Spokane traffic and construction. Haven't been on the bike since I had my taste of actually riding one. We have calls in to see if anyone wants these tickets.
I figure I will bandage the owie and put some sort of wrap on it so that the bandage doesn't come off inside my jeans. It is also not supposed to be hot this weekend, low 70s. Not ready for fall yet. We should still be having hot weather. At least I should be able to cut the air conditioning off and open the windows. There is a chance of showers which would mkae riding on the back of the bike so much fun.
This weekend is also the huge fund raiser for the local Catholic school, Sausage Fest has been going on for years and it is huge. We are chaperoning the Jr. High dance. We can't stay late there since we have to be up and out by 6:30 Saturday morning if we want to eat before going, I would rather sleep. I get such terrible helmet hair I have to blow dry it and set it. If I am not trying to make it curl (and wasted effort if the helmet is just going to flatten it out), helmet hair doesn't look too bad.
One of the ride instructors will be on this run. I get to show him my boo-boo and tell him I am never going to try agian. LOL.
Wanda Sykes was on Jay Leno tonight. She is very sarcastic and I love it. She was talking about the hurricane and made the comment she was mad at the Amercian people. They knew he was "slow" and people still voted for him, you get what you get.
This is terrible, it is after 3 am and I am still up and still rather awake. Even Day the whiner is in bed and not in the office trying to get me to go to bed.
