The bad kitties

chelelevMy kitties have food, I bought them the large self feeders for when we go away and I just keep filling them up. There was food in both feeders, whole kibble not the left over crumbs that they both turn their little pink noses up at. Knowing that I needed to refill the stash upstairs, I bought in the 16 lb. bag from the garage and set it by the stairs (to be taken up on my next trip up the stairs). I came in twice and startled the Day kitty, she was very interested in the corner of the bag of food. I needed to move the food and what did my eyes see? A nice little hole chewed in the bag so that they can, I assume, dine in the family room and not in the kitchen where they currently eat.
I will admit, I am not sure which kitty chewed the hole, Night is the paper chewer but it was Day's nose in the bag and knowing the sibling rivalry that goes on over the cat nip blankie, I can't see Night chewing the hole and letting Day eat unmolested.
I was going to mix their regular kibble with some more expensive kind just to give them a treat. No treats for these kitties today.
