chelelevDid any of my flist score tickets to the concert of the weekend? Keys are shifitng to those Philly folks.
I am so jealous not to be able to even think about going. There seems to be 2 separate events going on on the Parkway, Live 8 and Philadelphia Freedom.
I can remember back in the day of seeing Sister Sledge on the Parkway during one of Philly's day long festives. Vou le vou.....(ok, French was not my major!).

Date: 2005-07-01 02:06 am (UTC)My mom bought the tickets on a whim-- she saw a line forming at the mall, and made a guess that it was the Live Aid line-- I guess thinking she and I would go, and then she realized that she couldn't sit out in the sun all day (she had lupus, among other awful things), so she recruited my sister to take me.
The idea of ONE MILLION PEOPLE and only 400 potties is enough to deter me from the whole thing.
