Working the hours I did (more about that later) left little time for updating teh journal - for that matter, getting anything done that could not be done in my jammies.

Work did a shake-up and we all had to do a site wide shift bid. I wanted to be off Saturday and Sunday so that I can go with Mark on the bike. I did get my wish but starting work at 5:45 is going to be tough. I would have loved to have gotten 9:30 to 6:30 but I guess those with better numbers got those great hours. I begin my 5:45 to 3:45 shift tomorrow. Tues, Wed and Thurs, I am in training so my hours are 8 to 5.

The big suck at work is they changed the rules for personal time. It used to be that on April 1, you got 30 hours your first year and 40 hours your second year. I was counting on those hours for our trip to WingDing in July. Now, you earn your Personal Time (PTO) so much per pay period. I have my leave of absence form filled out. I need to calculate how many hours I will have and how mnay days I will be taking with pay and subject to the dreaded "points" system.

Mark has been riding the bike quite a bit. I have only been on it a little. Not sure if we are taking the car or the bike to the leather sale next weekend.

I did not even get this update finished yesterday.

My day at work goes way too quickly but that means I am dealing with more customers. My numbers were looking good until I got mr. non-techo-savy which took me 45 minutes to walk him through placing his first order. Then I got Mr. Asshat. I did not get his email addy the first two times correct - shut the fuck up for a minute and maybe I could concentrate - spelled is out so so slowly, one letter at a time as if i am an idiot. What was funny is that he ordered books on how to grow pot and was very quick to tell me that he is growing it for medicinal purposes. He needs to have smoked some before calling anyone, I have never had such a stick up the ass customer before. I am sure when he does not get his order tomorrow, he will be calling again. I so hope that I don't get him again.

Getting off work at 2:45? Wonderful. Getting to work at 5:45? Not so wonderful.

My lunch is at 10:30 in the am. Way too early to have lunch so I spend my hour shopping. The GI Joes close to work has the cutest Crocs in. They are like Mary Janes and I am sure that I need to get them in all the colors. I do need some different color Crocs.

Real downside of working these hours? I have to make dinner every night. Off to begin that process.

I missed you.
Good luck getting used to the hours! I still haven't gotten used to daylight savings time yet, ugh!
