I'm Free!!!!

After second guessing myself all week about quitting, I finally stayed with the quitting decision.  Since I couldn't get an indefinite leave of absence,  we decided quitting and being rehire eligable was best.  It was   also strongly suggested I work my full shift, which I did.

Of course, I got all nice customers calling.  They escort you out of the building, making sure you did not steal anything.  Even I am smart enough to steal prior to my last day.  Honestly, there was not anything there I wanted.  I left more stuff than what I might have taken, notepads, fou-fou coffee.

It is so strange to be home at night.  Now I have to play housewife, the turkey breasts are thawing away and once thawed, will marinate in some sort of liquid and visit the George Foreman grill.

I went to a political meeting  last night.  Remembered why I quit going.  

I want to go back to bed but have things to do around here and a Costco run.  I got fresh California strawberries there last week, so good.  Strawberries are on the list.  As is  popcorn.  Seems I live on that and there is a coupon and no limit to how many I can buy using the same coupon.  I have to go count the kitty litter to see if we need more.

To do:
Go through my closets (there are 3.5 closets) and discard everything that does not fit me.  That will clear it out since the majority of the things are too big.
Create a holding area for things going to storage. 
Create a holding area for things being donated
Increase the number if things being donated.
Nap - probably during General Hospital!
Cook dinner (the down side of being off work, I have to play housewife
Work on taxes

Surgery is scheduled for March 21. On the 17th I get to under go that lovely procedure that everyone should have after the age 50 - colonoscopy. The days before are probably going to be rougher than the actual procedure. Yeah for happy drugs.

I can go back to Amazon in the fall, I might do that. Last year they paid seasonals 1.00 more an hour they worked if they stayed until the end of the year.

I wanted some fresh strawberries when I was in CA, but the stand was closed when I left the WAP and I had been in too much of a rush to stop before.
