Are you sick of hearing abou the damn house hunting yet? 

Sure, they accepted the offer with the following conditions: 

Property shall be accepted "as is" with $500.00 towards any repairs found at inspection

1000.00 escrow

We do not have a remedy to go after seller for things that they knew about and didn't disclose, repair, etc.


Somebody knows something.

Not sure what we will do now.  I am so tired of this.  If I didn't hate this place so much, I would start seriously considering buying it.  It still might come down to that.  At least here, I know the floors are hardwood under the carpets, just would need to have them refinished.

Emotionally, I have walked away from the house so I won't take to my bed if they reject our terms (or we have to reject their terms).

If you feel good about your terms should they accept them then cool -- this whole thing just feels icky and I would hate to see you end up holding the bag of shit in the end, y'know?

I've expanded my horizons, raised my price range up and have not 1, not 2 but 3 possibilities (on the same street). Drive bys tomorrow (and one house is empty and has 3 fireplaces). Gotta love a house with a party room in it.

Figured I didn't have the furniture for the 273K house but might still consider the 253K with the built in 57 inch tv.

I think the listing agent is feeding the fire and didn't like getting played by us during her open house.
