I'm glad things are looking better. The changing of dressings and packing wounds is something I did when I worked in the minor surgery dept when in the Navy -- that's the only reason why I could change that kind of stuff on my own (mouth, belly button) w/o help or instruction.
If you have never done it before, it is icky and kind of scary because you are stuffing stuff into another person's body. :o|
