chelelev: (Day)
This was supposed to be the great hard drive swap out weekend. Nothing has progressed on that, at all. Yesterday was breakfast with the leather crowd. I am not feeling comfortable with these people, people only sit at our table if there are NO other seats to be had. I realize there are cliques but damn, these are grown people. There are only about 6 people who say boo to us. I am busy for the next meeting day. I will have to decide if I am going to continue going. I pick tables so I can sit on the end, I hate feeling trapped at the end of a table and can't get out without disturbing 20 people.

Anyways, Mark left breakfast to go order fork seals. Next thing I hear is he is going on a ride to Pendleton Oregon. He got home about 6:30 last night. One bike went down (this is one of the people who do talk with us). They had just gotten 2 new 1800s and Becky went down with hers. I think the bike might be too big for her, she got rid of a 900 for the 1800. She is ok, the bike is scratched up all to hell though.

It is now noon and still no progression on the hard drive issue. He will go gone next weekend doing ham radio crap.

that your husband reads your journal. Suddenly movement has been made in the great hard drive swap out 2005. The downside is that I am on the laptop for the next 24 hours. While I am very grateful that I have the laptop option (and that is helped by the fact that he has his own and leaves mine alone), I don't like it.

I am watching the Grammys (only saw bits and pieces during Desparate Housewives). Is it me or does Lisa Marie look terribly old? And Melissa Ethridge does a fantastic Janis Joplin, gave me chills. And the years have not been kind to Elvin Bishop.
