I just realized I hadn't been here much this week.

I survived the going out in public trip. Got the cath out on Tuesday (I had had lunch with a group of ladies from church) and came back home (that seemed to be all the outing in public I could handle). I sewed some on the one quilt top and noticed the downstairs TV was beginning to act up. The acting up began shortly after Mark had made the comment that the TV at Circuit City (or wherever) was not that good of a deal so we would keep that one for a while more.

Wednesday found me braving the other last minute shoppers buying Thanksgiving dinners. I decided to cook a turkey as a surprise for Mark, and if I was going to do this, I was going to do it right so found the largest turkey that was under my
"do not lift anything over this weight (which is 2 different weights, 10 or 15). The turkey was 14.95 pounds. I lifted more in getting the cat's food off the bottom shelf.

Brought everything home and hid the turkey in the garage. Went in and realized the tv was going quickly, the picture screen kept getting smaller then bigger, smaller and not as big as before, even smaller until it was just a straight line of picture about an inch high.

We went to Costco when Mark got home from work and brought home a new widescreen TV, a couple of books, some trail mix for Mark and some Duraflame logs. That settled the camping out for a tv. It also helped that there was only 2 per store and we would have had to camp out really really early to have a chance at it. When he took out the old tv, Mark found the turkey. That plan got busted right quick.

Since he knew, I made Mark bring the turkey upstairs. I cooked it following the times on the wrapper, those were woefully under and the cookbook's times were too long. The breast meat was done but the dark meat wasn't, I just tossed that, we were sitting down for dinner at 8:30 at night as it was.

I was late reading all the sale flyers and saw a camera that looked good at Office Max Friday afternoon. Mark went out looking for me Saturday but everything he found was out of stock. We will keep looking but not a must have by Christmas thing. Our new LCD monitors will be here Wednesday.

Friday, I did go to Target and got Mark somethings that he doesn't know about and candy for the nurses. The cats got material for me to make them some catnip catnap pads. Waited in line longer at Joannes buying material as I did at Target. Stopped and got an outfit for Mark's job's Christmas Party.

Saturday I slept until 10:30 (Day woke me up) and still took a long nap. I had gone to sleep about 1 am so to sleep that long is unheard of. Not to lucky today but have gotten two naps in and it is not even 2:00.

I am debating if I want to go to Mass or not. I still feel tired. I will have to see how I feel at 4:30 or so. Still this tired, not going.

I seem to think I can be doing much more than I do since my incisions are internal and you can't "see" that I have had surgery. It is about a month recovery.

I have applied for one job, I doubt I will get contacted about it other than the "we have received" your app email. That is ok, there is lots of recorded tv to watch and sewing to do. Mark will have to take my sewing machine to the quilt shop Thursday, he works Friday night so will not want to do it during his sleep time. Quilt class is from 4 to midnight. I think the theme is last minute Christmas gifts, I just have my own last minute gifts to finish (start).
