Which number shift is this?
Oct. 9th, 2007 08:07 amI think this next shift change will be my 5th at the Big A (counting training weeks). I can't believe I've been here a year next month. Yeah for getting vested in 15% of the stock they gave me when I started. Starting Monday I am noon to 9 M-F. Yeah for no weekends, suck for having to DVR shows, yeah for staying up later, suck for missing Halloween. Mark will have to play hand out the play dough this year.
Came in early for training, they canceled training. I would have appreciated a phone call telling me I did not need to come to work early just to sit around and play with LJ for an extra hour. T here are things I could have done at home, including doing my 24 urine test - I decided I couldn't do it when I realized I had to be at work the same time the lab opened. Need to do it this Sunday. I have the f/up doctor's appt next Monday. Probably ought to reschedule that for a couple of weeks later so that all test results can be in before I get fussed at.
I really need to get the rosebushes trimmed this week and the Halloween decorations out. I dragged them out of storage, just now need to get the lights up before the storms start rolling in.
