My owie?

I ventured outside with my owie today. It was not a pleasant venture. I now notice how many times the little toe comes in contact with various things in the outside world. Enough that I realize I have added to the injury.

The Costco run will have to wait. But I did get some wonderful blueberries at Safeway. They are soooooo good. I might never leave home again, or at least not before I kill the 5 pounds of deliciousness.

At our grocery store, blueberries are buy one get one free! I made this huge yummy fruit salad with dinner tonight :o)

I love blueberries (and raspberries but raspberries are never this cheap!). I don't know if any will make it to blueberries and cream status. I might have to go back and get another 5 lbs. to freeze. Blueberry smoothies. Blueberry cobbler. Blackberry cobbler, it is too early for them now.

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever tried a raspberry :o/ Mulberries are one of my favorites, but I'm not sure if you can buy them?

I say if they freeze well and are cheap, go for another 5 pounds ;o)

Never had a raspberry? Oh my, you are missing things! Run, don't walk, to the grocery store and snitch you a couple. Manna from heaven I tell you, manna from heaven.

Now, I have never had a mulberry - just know the name from the child ditty - here we go 'round the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush..."

My Granny had a tree and I'd stand under it and eat them until I got a stomach ache. And they turn your hands, mouth, feet (I hate to wear shoes) and anything else they touch purple :o/ Mom would make me wear old play clothes as to not ruin anything nice.
