Warning, TMI and girly parts
The original date that I was scheduled for my "lets see if she is a candidate for the upcoming surgery we promised her" next Monday afternoon. One the 3rd, I got a message about my appointment on Tuesday at 2. Called back, the office did not show that appointment and reverified my appointment on the 10th. Yesterday, I got a phone call telling me my appointment was tomorrow (today) at 8 am. The person called, Jennifer, was the same one that called me Monday with my imaginary Tuesday appointment. So I am up getting ready for what probably will be a wasted trip but at least I can look them in the face when I ask them what the hell is Jennifer doing to the schedule in the back room. Is she unhappy at her job and just wants to fuck with everyone's head?
Here comes the TMI -
If I do get in to see the doctor, I will have a lovely 1/2 hour of having my bladder filled with water via a cath and then having an ultra sound. Even though I have never had children, I finally get to at least experience an ultra sound. Maybe they will discover a 15 year old fetus in there and that is why I am fat. I can only hope! Then another 1/2 hours with the doctor while I whine for more estrogin (still having those pesky flashes), my bone density scan and whatever other drugs I can get out of him. I would hope the estrogen would help with the no sleeping long enough each night, I take enough of "may make you drowsy" meds to put down an elephant but not me.
I see my regular doctor next week so I can try and get better sleeping meds from her. She upped my Elavil and that did nothing for me.
