The death of the lawn mower
Apr. 9th, 2006 05:21 pmIt died last year at this time and somehow Mark managed to fix it. He doesn't want to bother this time but I don't want to shell out $400.00 for a new one either. What ever he did last year might work this year if he would just take the time and show some patience. I know my sewing machine is in the hospital (and if I knew how to fix it, I would have) and am hoping it is not worse case (which is over 200.00). Not ready to buy a new sewing machine either but would want to do that more than buy a lawn mower. When he gets like this, there is no reasoning with him. He just stomped off saying it takes an act of Congress to spend any money in this house. Need I remind him of the year old motorcycle? The tent? The cargo trailer for said motorcycle which is going to cost over 200.00 to paint it so that it matches the Mistress (aka Goldwing)? The 2 year old new car he got when I got mine? Sorry, not too much to ask that one makes a serious attempt at fixing things before wanting to buy a new one.
And this is after I brought him cheese steaks last weekend.
