I totally forgot to blog this. I am loosing it - 8 hours attached to a computer and a phone will do that to you.
We grill. We have a decent grill. Last time we grilled, Mark did not put the cover back on the grill. This is important. Like most grills there is a small hole on each side. I have idea what it is for.
In the middle of "life as a cherry orchard owner", Mark was to grill turkey burgers. I just slaved him out last week, what can I say.
I send Mark out to grill. He opens the grill. It had not been all that long since we last grilled, but in that time, someone/something moved into our grill and built a nest as large as our grill. The area below the grill was completely filled with long grasses. The actual nest was on the cooking part of the grill. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWw.
Have no idea what was living there. There was an abnormal amount of bird shit on the railing of the deck nearest the grill, but there were no broken shells or feathers in the nest. It was a sloppy nest, not like a robin's tight nest.
I know we have the gray rodents, magpies, seagulls occasionally.
The cover is now back on the grill. If they manage to get in, they can have the grill, I will get another one.
Now if I could only find my camera. I think I really lost it this time.
