Anne Brancroft passed away yesterday from cancer.

Edited to add:

I had not remembered that she had been married to Mel Brooks since 1956, they almost made 50 years. She was a wonderful actress.

I didn't realize she was Italian! I remember her from "Agnes of God," and of course, "The Graduate."
Just the other day, I was listening to my favorite radio show "American Routes" (yes, they play the Dead ;-)), and they played the audio of the scene where Dustin Hoffman is just SCREAMING in the church. It sounded even funnier on the radio.
