Just like getting married

We are making an offer on the house.   Payments estimated to be about 100.00 over what we are paying now for rent (1300.00, we have paid over 50K for housing in 5 years). 

I have broken out in hives.  Not everywhere, just where they show.  I dug myself raw (on my shin, with bitten nails) 48 hours before we got married.  Now, I have nails so digging raw only takes a little bit.

I will pick up something after I leave the Drs. today.  I will ask for a script so it is cheaper.

I will not jinx this house by packing a box.  Maybe some organization or searching for more stuff to donate, that is ok.

Housing and closing is the worst. Absolute worst.

You have a wedding on top of it all??

No wedding, we did that 20 some years ago. We've just been looking and I I had written the house off because of cosmetic things (might need a new roof but that is something the seller will have to fix). We went in it on Monday night and realized it was the one. Huge rooms, lots of rooms, close to current home. It is not perfect but we can work on things at our pace (and money floww).

Just have to play the offer counter offer game.

This will be one of my easiest moves, I can't lift anything over 10 lbs for the next 6 weeks, I have a broken foot so can't really carry anything on stairs - both houses are split houses.

I was really excited at the thought of buying a house. As the time got closer and we made the bid, I became very nervous at all the what-ifs. I thought it was so much more nerve racking than getting married because I figured I could unload a husband easier than I could unload a house ;)

I know, I will be waking up tonight in a panic with buyer's remorse. Much easier to get rid of a spouse than a house. The market is really soft now so we would be stuck with it for a while.

Just make the hives go away.
