Things are starting to click
Nov. 10th, 2006 05:11 amToday seemed much better. We spent more time hands on than just watching a screen. Still terrified of taking an actual call but that is a week away, I think. We might have to do one or two in class.
Mark says the interview went well and he is optimistic. He was that way for SC and that fell through. Downside is, his class begins December 4. They let him know next Friday at the latest. I'll stay here because I am just not ready to move cross country much less have all the deposit money and moving money up front. Once he gets settled, we see what take home is to start, I'll know what mine is, I can go to debt counseling, at the minimum a forced budget. I am about to take Showtime off the cable, HBO will come after the Sopranos end.
I hope we can find him a small (very small) apartment, furished would be better.
There was a going away party for a friend of ours last night, started at 7. I get off work at 5 and I killed a couple of hours at the mall and in Barnes and Noble. Get to the location and everyone has been there for quite some time, have their food ordered, etc. I was mad, I could have been there much earlier. There really wasn't any place to sit, etc. I made my rounds, turned down offers of pizza and came home. When Mark leaves, I don't know if I even want to do that much. Everyone ordered their own food, etc. so there really isn't an expense for us, other than it being a time suck. I won't know my schedule until next Friday, I bid on my schedule next week.
