And we have SNOW!!!!!

I am so psyched. They have dangled that snow carrot in front of me since NYE. Promised me 4 to 6 inches that night/next day. Not a flake at my house. It is weird in Washington, snow fall is determined by how many feet above sea level you are. That was true on the westside in Bremerton (the houses on the hill above me in housing would have snow and I would have rain) and it was true here New Years Day. Were we went for Brunch (if nothing else, the Gold Wing group does eat well) had snow. We drove home in snow for so far and then rain. Once again, not a flake at home. They were once again dangling the carrot but I didn't bite, I had learned. But the snow gods have smiled upon me and I am very grateful (and will leave a suitable sacrifice to them, as soon as I figure out that that might be). It began snowing at 5 when I stopped into the drug store to see if I really did have coverage. I did, it took a bit of time while they had to redo whatever they do behind that tall counter. As I was walking out, a woman was walking in all excited, it really was snowing. The top of the Scion had a little layer and everything. I drove home trying to see if I could get it to fishtail. Note to self: disengage the traction thingamabob. I had to go back out to a meeting, tried again to get it to be fun. Finally after 3 hours of snowing, I had enough on the ground to make it spin a bit at an intersection. Rear wheel drive might not lend its self to doing donuts in the high school parking lot (guess I will be the oldest one up there, maybe the kids will let me play with their cars).
And, I saw my very first Scion XB commerical. It is hard having a car that you don't even see a commercial for. It was during CSI on Spike.
