The Saga is OVER!
Jan. 15th, 2005 09:43 pmI went to lunch with the old Red Hat group. Didn't say much of anything. After she passed out information on an upcoming event, I just made the statement that someone needs to take over activities, that it was time to rotate. Someone tried to give it back to me and I declined. The Queen took it back (like it was her job in the first place).
The defecting crowd immediately left for a local bar and set up our new chapter. I am Queen (must go tiara shopping soon). We plotted out things to do and lunches to be had. At least now, we will go someplace where there are grown-up drinks. I don't really like to drink the much soda but vodka martini? I am right there (and very little calories in that!).
I doubt we will run into the other group much. I did send out a broadcast email saying that I had resigned and heard nothing back. Hmmm.
