Oh my, I am bitchy today

I am sure some of this is left over from yesterday's fun filled day at a college football game but I will leave that for later. I am sure some of this is from worrying about if we are going to get hit with the lay-off notice next Monday
Dear World:
Is it really necessary for you to bring all of your children (at least 5) with you to the grocery store? Plus the two parents who weren't paying a bit of attention to the little darlings. Could you at least tell them to look before they dart across the aisle? Better yet, could you not go across the aisle in mass? One is usually sufficient, honest. The aisles are not so wide you can't show the rest of the family what you have discovered.
Sunday afternoons should not be bring your grandma to shop day. Esp. if grandma slowly crosses the aisle without looking. Obviously, that is not someting reserved for the younger generation.
Lady, hairy white legs and socks with your sandles? Not a good look for you. Just thought I would let you know.
Pregnant lady? Buy a frigging bigger t-shirt. I don't want to see your distended stretch-marked strange color tummy when I am trying to shop. You are not someone famous who at least applies make-up when they show off the baby bump. Yours just looked bad. Might want to look into some maternity pants too. Those low rider jeans you have managed to button below the belly? Not working for you either.
Dude, how could you allow your daughter to show that much of her ta-tas? You are of the ethic macho crowd and I would think would get quite upset if someone started ogling your daughter. And, she was old enough to be left at home alone so the trip did not need to be a family outing. Ok, maybe she is not to be trusted to stay home alone (or keep the boys out) but what do you expect when she shows the ta-tas that much?
Disclaimer note: I have no trouble with single moms or dads having to bring their chiildren to the store, I realize that is not a choice they have. BUT, two parent families? Send one with the damn list and the other stay at home with the little ones.
Thanks,
Chele
P.S. Still have my bitch on. Don't know what will fix it today.

Date: 2006-09-10 11:55 pm (UTC)Shane mentioned my dislike for taking the whole family to the grocery when Dad (or Mom) could just stay home with them and he got a bunch of people riled up saying that was part of their "quality family time." When he suggested they take the kids to the park or something while Mom is shopping, they got stupid saying they couldn't do that.

Date: 2006-09-11 02:35 am (UTC)Those kids are going to so remember going to the grocery store. My father would take me to the grocery store but dropped me at the library or grandma's before he actually did any shopping. I remember that more than any walk down the pet food aisle.
