Off to have some wine

Wednesday I drove up to Lake Chelan (about 3 hours away) to meet up with my cousin and her boyfriend. They always travel for David's birthday and they were in my state this year. We hit every winery in the area and I found some lovely wines. What I need to remember to do is taste them all and then go back and buy. Each winery had better wine (at least I thought so). I did try to like reds but just couldn't do it. Too much tannic, I felt like my teeth were coated in it. We even went to this little casino and I came out ahead 11.64 from playing nickle poker. It was about the time to leave so I started betting the max and got four of a kind. Works for me. I really like this cousin, we are both the oldest and are/have the same family drama going on. My family used to hold their family out as examples and it is good to see that they are somewhat human.

I need to order David some beer of the month of something for his birthday. They got me a huge green martini glass for my appletinis.
